UBC & Peter's Kill

Saturday, we went to see the Unified Bouldering Championships@Central Park.  Since I've never seen a competition with my own eyes, and I thought it was lucky that such competition was held at a close place, I asked Yusuke to take us.  And YES it was soooo HOT & AWESOME!!! 
I hope to see more competitions if we have any chance.









Sunday, we meet up with Yasu, Diana & Luke at Peter's Kill.  First I tried Tree-Bola Direct-Direct V1* which I couldn't make the first move last time.  Somehow, I had no problem this time and finished it!  Maybe I became a bit stronger than before.

Moving to Warm Up Boulder, I also finished Sidewalk Abreviated V0 and Fire Escape V1*.

The last move of Fire Escape V1* was really reachy and took so many tries to finish... so glad when I got it at last!

V2 @ Near Trapps

My daring and I went to Near Trapps with Yasu yesterday.
Yusuke finished a V6 problem and a V7 problem in a day!!!! WOW, he's soooo getting strong!!
On the other hand, I didn't have any motivation to climb problems that are hard to climb down after topping out, so I only tried one V1 and another V2.

I was reminded of alot of things today, such as...
- Need to train my leg muscles to use heel hooks
- Do more overhang problems at indoor gyms
- To strengthen base power by working out more often
But above all, Glad I started climbing because I'm happiest ever that I can always be with my beloved husband.

YES! I finished V3 @Gunks

Today, we went to Gunks Trapps with Yasu and Ikko. First we headed to Boxcar Boulder and after a few warm ups, I started to try Baby Hole V3*.
First, I couldn't find out the right move, but when Yusuke showed me how he finished it, I was able to use some of his moves and sent it at last! I didn't think I could finish this classic problem on my second day.


Since I accomplished my best grade at Gunks, I'll have to try more V3s and V4s!
